I've seen old accounts being necro'd & used by bots there, I'm leaving mine active purely so that doesn't happen🤞

& I got that on here - one of the "whats popular" feeds I had followed kept showing posts that were just OF content/adverts. at least here unfollowing the feed removes that content.

i was there specifically for following lewd artist.. and it got to where even though i was trying to follow specific accounts that were effectively porn...i couldn't stop seeing KKK and Nazi crap b/c somewhere the algo figures out what you don't want to see... then shows it to you to get engagement.

I pulled down the shutters, unfollowed everyone and set my profile to private but kept the account as occasionally it's handy to have. Logged in after about two weeks away to find I'd somehow randomly started following someone and their follow back had been accepted.
