Is it any wonder I respect the Church of Satan way more then my fellow Christians? At least state side. Over seas I hear they actually follow Jesus's teachings.
I love Christianity. I am deeply opposed to Christian nationalism. They are not the same. Real Christians take care of the poor and each other. (Just like Jimmy Carter).
Couldn't agree more, but I would include, Jewish nationalism, Islamic nationalism, etc. As a Jew, Jewish nationalism in Israel concerns me quite a lot.

Why do we even need Christian nationalism. I have not seen a church closed. The problem I have is religion does not belong in the schools. If I want my child to be taught about God that is my choice. Not the government to shove it down my throat. Don't forget the Reverend Jim Jones.
