I’ve maintained this same position FOREVER.

The government should invest in an apartment style complex. The units can be rented to out of town MLAs, with their cost of living allowance going back into a government owned property.

That aside, it makes no sense to me that this hasn’t already happened. The units would be assigned to the riding of each out of town MLA. Regardless of who gets elected, that’s their unit.

Instead of throwing away taxpayer $ on rents, they could be investing it in property. Common sense.
