My father was arrested and imprisoned for growing weed when I was a child. My siblings and I were also hand cuffed and taken to jail. At age 11 I was arrested in my undies in the middle of the night and put in a cell for 6 hours. (Hey, it was the 80s, in the wild west.)

I moved to Washington to be close to him. With the help of my son, I bought a piece of bare land and developed it. Now we are building a house and navigating the permitting process. I deal with men underestimating my abilities all the time. Oh well.
