I think the spinoff attempt was Harvey birdman and the birdgirl shows. (I loved all of it) I believe the audience did as well to receive most of the spinoff shows and paradies (Harvey birdman, Brak show, Sealab 2021, the Venture Bros.)

You know it's a massive missed opportunity that they haven't done more with Space Ghost being a weirdo superhero. Like they've tried three times so far to make him more serious with comic reboots, but I would like to see a dramatic Space Ghost that stays weird and works with SG's Adult Swim success

They've "brought him back to his superhero roots" three times already with the reboot comics and all of them are fine reboots but I would like to see a Space Ghost that is more dramatic yet experimental, and that doesn't stray from the surreal in favor of being a more typical superhero story

I feel like part of what made C2C work is that it's a superhero narrative from a unique perspective of technically being a epilogue to the original series where Space Ghost slowly but surely looses his mind trying to reform members of the Council of Doom, as told slowly over a talk show format

I love C2C believe me but it much more channeling to see him back like when the OG series in the 60s came out. TBH,He needs a break from the series that everyone knew him from the 90s talk show. People forgotten that Hanna Barbera had a stellar Superhero lineup back in the day.

I can't say that I agree with you. If anything I think Space Ghost Coast to Coast hit lightning in a bottle with mastering all of the Space Ghost characters it gave spotlight too, and pushing the reset button just because Coast to Coast got pretty weird feels like tossing out a good thing to me

I feel like I'd be very disappointed in a Space Ghost cartoon that abandons all the CN/AS contuity and weirdness and takes him back to being a normal superhero for the sake of status quoe.

If it was something in tone somewhere between Venture Bros and Adventure Time I'd be interested
