I was definitely more obsessed with video games when I was a kid, but I didn’t think my tastes as an adult were THIS picky lol

Exactly and so many people say it’s just because of nostalgia, but I’ve replayed games I used to love as a kid, and yeah, some of ‘em ARE actually trash, But most of them hold up today. Most of them are genuinely enjoyable games. It’s not just nostalgia; games are—in general—not as good as they were
