I also met Mean Joe Green at the very same spot, and we traded rings for a few minutes. Mine was my wedding ring...his was one of his superbowl rings. Musta weighed 3 ounces 🤣😂🤣😅
I wrote myself into an ad for an e-commerce company with George Brett sitting juxtaposed to me (unsuspecting pale guy) in a sauna while somewhat passionately recites his PG13 Pine Tar Game story unprompted.
After the shoot he pats me on the back and goes "great job today". Which was my job but 🫢⭐
Jim Kelly as well. He was doing the Superbowl ESPN show with Chris Berman at Bayside Marketplace. Actually talked to us for a few minutes as well. He signed the back of a business card, but I lost it.
Miguel Cabrera. 2003 when the Marlins won the World Series. Back then only about 5,000 people were showing up for the games, and the players were really great at BP, coming and signing autographs. Gave me the bro hand shake. He didn't speak any English, then so couldn't really have a conversation.
I shook hands once with Rod Carew in a bank parking lot near where he lived (Anaheim Hills). And also, I shook hands with Nolan Ryan and several Angels after a Freeway Series game, in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium.
Randy Johnson was going super f**kin slow on a snow mobile in front of me. I was so annoyed.
But he took a pic with me and my lady after, so it was cool.
Dude's tall...
When I was 4 I used to tell everyone I was going to marry him when I grew up! My dad took our family to a game when the Yankees played the (then) Kansas City A’s and we went down by the dugout after the game where players would sometimes sign autographs and I got to meet him and tell him! 😂
