I still cannot decide between IMVU, Roblox and VRChat. 😭😭 VRChat seems more my style - but also....it seems like a WAY higher skill ceiling over there - like I legit have no clue where to even START with creating on that platform. i've been doing roblox stuff since i was a teen and i personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone :(
it's perfect if you do things just for fun – but professionally, as one person endeavor, it can be a minefield for several reasons

IMVU is on a decline, AFAIK. Roblox is riddled with controversy and with all due respect I don't think Wraith (unless this is more a personal endeavor than a store expansion) is a good fit.

VRChat is likely your best bet - and it's a somewhat higher skill ceiling, but at the same time you..

more authority, yes, but it seems that a lot of the creators for vrc are desperately crying out on their product listings to "at least give me credit, damn" - I don't know if I have the emotional or mental energy to fight IP theft to the degree it seems to happen with the raw asset sales

I think the first place to start (where I will be, anyway) for VRchat is with rigging and importing to unity. You need that before you can start with vr chat specifically. Based on what I've seen you are well above the bar for quality there. You'd fit in just fine

Garments and accessories etc technically fall under avatars, as there is no inventory system currently. Addons are sold as blend files or unity assets for people to add to their own avatars to import to vrchat, or you can sell full avatars yourself with a mix of your own and 3rd party content
