Not gonna lie, I really don't mind the occasional banner ad here and there.
What pisses me off are either full screen unclosable ads, too many ads with too much JavaScript slowing down the page, the stupid WHOLE BORDER ad that swipes up from the bottom with color around the whole screen

like there's malware hidden in ads, or even malicious ads that hijack your browser (especially on mobile devices) and force you to another website or even opening up the app store by force
