Spray silicone lubricant on a dry clean shovel and let sit a couple mins. Itll get ya a good 15 mins of vigorous shoveling without ice buildup. Repeat as necessary. And remember, keep the arms low to avoid heart attack 🥰

I also spray it around the car door frames, trunk and hood, and in the key holes (especially important if it gets so cold the battery dies, fobs wont work). I love that stuff, i gave cans of it to all my neighbors and family for xmas to help keep em safe 🥰🥰🥰

Time for a blower Jake. I have one and it really helps to get the snow up over the piles. It especially helps prevent injuries. The shovel is used for leftovers and sculpting.

Yes sometimes they sit. But when you need them they save you. In the last 24 hours I’ve been out there twice. And the piles are too high for shovels so a blower is necessary. I bought a Ryobi cordless one last year and the thing works like a dream. Light, easy to handle and blows snow 20-30’.
