Cascade has access to the widest range of tools, from search tools like grep and list directory (and our proprietary LLM-based search tool) to edit tools such as adding and editing files. Cascade can even suggest, execute, and iterate on terminal commands.

Cascade also stays in sync with the actions you take in the IDE, so you can do something as simple as ask Cascade to continue the changes you made in the text editor. Simple, but unique.

Cascade utilizes Codeium’s context awareness engine for the deepest understanding of production codebases (we’ve been using Cascade to build Cascade for a while!). A bit different than AI systems that break down past zero-to-one projects.
