I really need someone I trust to like analyze it and explain it to me. Joe and Rich basically just said "it was well worked but the crowd doesn't like Shota" over and over and I'm not certain that I even agree with "well worked." I genuinely don't get the story they were trying to tell - ThreadSky

I just finished it.I think the whole match is (as the announcers said over & over) about is Shota in a spot he shouldn’t be in,obviously.The crowd doesn’t like him is certainly one thing but another is I think you need a standard bearer perennial World Champion on the other side to tell that story/1

correctly.And that champ has to be a super dick in the match,almost dismissive of Shota to make the hope spots work,or at least have a chance of working.I love ZSJ but he doesn’t have that Champ cache yet to be the guy needed to attempt this.They’d have been better off trying to just do a banger
