I'm in the process of moving my e-books away from Amazon. I'll leave the paperbacks because I can offer them at a good price, but the e-books are much more popular.

Chapters Indigo in Canada. Coach Books in Canada. Try finding the authors' websites and buy directly from them. If you know the publisher, perhaps buying directly from the publishers as well.

Some authors also have direct stores set up via WooCommerce, Shopify, Gumroad, or Ko-Fi! Check the authors' website to see if the book you want is there!

While many indie authors are Amazon exclusive, not all of us are! We are very happy when we see sales on any platform.

Fable, Tolino, Google Play Books, Everand... There are a lot of places you can find books by independent authors. Many brick and mortar bookstores (indie and non-) might not always keep our books in stock and on the shelves, but you can still ask them if they will special order a book for you!

And of course, indies who aren't exclusive to Amazon can be in e-libraries like Libby(Overdrive), Hoopla, BorrowBox, and CloudLibrary. There are of course way too many e-retailers and e-library services to mention all at once, but indie authors who aren't Amazon exclusive? We are *everywhere.*

Yes, https://bookshop.org is a great resource. Buy books directly from authors whenever possible, at readings, book fairs, etc.
