I had asked about contractor only because Apple does treat contractors differently than permanent employees and there are predominantly more remote workers in a contractor role than a permanent one in many companies.

I know they used vendors and contractors more before 2012, and are now returning to that. I think the calculus was, why pay a middle-man, when they can take credit for the job creation? Many of our jobs were created shortly after a meeting Cook had with Obama. Times have changed...
You know, I really appreciate you asking that! It's... challenging, for sure, but I am tenacious! Things are getting better, and I am getting more business little by little, it's just very hard to get by, as things are building up... it takes significantly more time than I anticipated..
stick with it if you’re getting growth, you’re doing the right things, but certainly doing your own business is tough and has its own logistical challenges, especially revenue and taxes, but in the long run, it’s really the only way to make serious money versus just being an employee
