Some of the both happiest times of my life were when I didn't live anywhere and just traveled with my partner - it's good to have somewhere to come back to, though!! I burn out on travel after ~6 months straight. XD

I really want to travel more. I was broke as hell as a student but now that I’m working I have the unfortunate luck to be living in the U.K. so rent and bills just swallow up most my salary anyway; only thing saving me is European budget airlines

I know what you mean. Traveling just costs so much money and also time. That’s why I think it’s best to seize any opportunity you have if you can.

I’ve been pushing some of my big ambitious trips down the road for a while but I realized that rn is the time to do it

For sure, especially as it gets harder to find that time as you get older and have more responsibilities, it's well worth spending the money now rather than saving and not being able to do it later
