A 15% tax on oil & gas exports to the US could net close to $25 billion a year – a lot of money that we could put to use transitioning our own economy off fossil fuels & de-linking ourselves from the US.

Even if the USA were to retaliate with Energy Export Taxes of their own, they import vastly more oil than we do.

Let’s get smarter about this, rather than ‘reflecting’ tariff for tariff.
