It will help if Liverpool, who look like they are a little wobbly of late, continue to drop points in this run of fixtures.

But we also have CL coming up.

We must stay as close as possible until Saka and Martinelli come back. Hopefully in so doing we find a striker solution that we can build on.

With the injuries, I expect us to be inconsistent. And that we can't afford to be. City would go on an unbelievable run around this time, with the injuries I don't think we have it in us. So the media may keep saying there is a title challenge, but reality is different.

Any real scenario of winning the title requires a win at Liverpool. So I take that victory as a given for the sake of looking at the table & assessing our chances. Therefore, if we win Saturday, we'll be 2 points back. And if Pool drop points on Sunday we'd be 2-3 points back with a game in hand.
