“I Fought the Law” by The Clash, originally by The Crickets after Buddy Holly’s death in 1959, became a punk anthem. The Clash, second only to the Sex Pistols in punk influence, defined the movement. Fun fact: I knew a fishing shop employee in Amsterdam who occasionally played bass with them! #punk
