looking forward to joining my local labour party - our mp has already done a lot for the community in a short amount of time, and doing more locally is a good place to start in making a difference

also i couldn’t really have done this without advice and support from my friends (you know who you are)
as individuals our impact globally is limited, so i’m gonna do what i can in this country and in my own community
also going back to my mp - so, i’m from a very tory area, our previous mp was very unpopular and did fuck all locally. we have our first labour mp who won because the r*ght w*ng vote was split, and my mum said that this is an opportunity for us to have an mp who could actually make a difference 1/?
(cont) but he’s going to have to work very hard to keep his seat. he’s doing a good job so far locally. so the best way for me to make a global difference locally is to campaign towards him keeping his seat and keeping the tories out of government .
just thinking out loud really. recent events have made me want to be more proactive, but i can’t directly influence anything outside of my own country (pretty sure that wouldn’t even be legal anyway)
