Not at all. My position is in any medically abnormal situation preserve the life of mother immediately and without question. Save baby if possible, but mother first.
Not sure what your angle is on that question. I don't call women things when they die. I feel sorrow for them. I hope that the child they were carrying at least survives and lives a life to be proud of.
If the mother dies, and the child lives (which is not the norm) the child is an orphan. If the woman dies, and her life could have been saved by the standard of care, I call it death getting a two-fer-one. A healthy woman is much more likely to survive a doomed pregnancy than an unviable fetus.
