Terrified that no one will buy my books at the B&N signing tomorrow, but I have to remind myself that if even ONE person brings them to the counter with a sparkle in their eye it's worth it ⭐

One of the first signings I hosted was for Robert Parker. When no one was at his table, he stalked around the store asking customers if they “wanted to meet a famous author?” A little aggressive, but it worked. 🤣 we sold a ton of his backlist mm’s and the new novel that day.

Yeah that's my biggest issue: I'm all friendly-like at the table, but I'm terrible at encouraging a sale.
