Honestly? When Obama chose to not hold Bush & Cheney accountable for war crimes, the neocon warhawks were enabled & legitimized in a way we are still coming to terms with.

I.e. genocide is acceptable if it's politically desired.

Regardless of We the People, or legality (let alone morality).
