Totally fair. PoE definitely follows the same play style so might not be the move. If you have a PlayStation/PC there are some amazing PlayStation RPGs that have come out recently (Astrobot, God of War(s), Horizon)

Fallout New Vegas has dialogue systems like bg3 and disco, with an open world like skyrim and elden ring. like all bethesda games , it's very glitchy and may randomly crash on you. but the juice is worth the squeeze

Oh also if you liked BG3, would recommend divinity original sin 2. It's by the same people but has much better combat cause not strictly like DnD
