I loved it too, absolutely incredible all around.
Not super happy about the promise of a new fusion then the bugs being lost, but other than that the whole series was just a delight. Watching the dub every week and reliving it is a lot of fun.
I half expected a quick joke with Gohan where he didn't even notice he got younger cause he was so focused on studying. The wish would have hit him too.
Daima is like an alternate reality or timeline or something? I hear a lot of people going on about SSJ4 in Daima but it taking place before Super where SSJ3 was Goku's highest form at the start. ~<3
I do wish it had more time to tie up loose ends but I don't see any way they could have used those 23 minutes better. Any lingering problems come down to earlier pacing problems.
So with what they had to work with, its as good as the ending could possibly be.
Well put. I ABSOLUTELY love Daima. I bet the Kakarot dlc will be packed with lots of lore/explanations/names we didn't get in the show, too. Looking forward to that.

But obviously the way the show was produced didn't allow for hindsight edits like that.

And what they did with Hybis was just PURE Italian chef finger kiss for me.
