I was afraid this would be a thing for other EV brands but apparently not. Also if you celebrate when a Hyundai goes up in flames wtf is wrong with you. A Tesla, drinks are on me
EVs, even Teslas, generally catch fire less often than gasoline cars. The problem is, most car fires are due to fuel leaks in engine compartment, which by their very nature start small, giving time for escape or rescue. Battery fires, not so much. So safety margin on BEVs has to be way higher. ->
The statistics to watch is deadly fires, and this is the place where Teslas look particularly bad, compared to both the conventional ICE cars and EVs from other brands.
I follow r/cyberstuck on reddit and those eagle eyed enthusiasts never miss a 'good' story on the CT.
Lots of videos and pictures. Much shade is thrown too.
yup.
it did get a bit silly.
They are curiously serious about the mockery though. Rule 1 is, IIRC, must be direct wankpanzer mockery. Not direct on anyone or anything, just the vehicle.
Can be fun though.
Even worse, the dumpster truck's doors auto locked at the time of the explosion. So even if someone had survived inside, first responders can't get the doors open.
