The fuss about Riseborough’s nom was one of the most ridonculous things I’ve witnessed in 40 years of Oscar watching. Not her fault that her supporters knew how to count. Leading Lady Star Michelle Williams deserves all the credit for refusing to fraud her way to a win 🤩

Yeah it was ridiculous. Most of the foolishness came from people who haven't seen the film. Honestly she's the third best nominee IMO behind Michelle & Cate.

There should've been more collective outrage for Ana's nom of the five.

Michelle is fine and I agree not a supporting performance

She was the top billed, #1 on the call sheet, Leading Lady Star of the film and only because placement has become so corrupted over the last 25 years is she even remotely considered to be Supporting. I’m glad Lily did the same. Julia, Viola, Brad, Zoe etc should take note!!!

Top billing because of name recognition. The only way I can see her being considered lead is if you consider Dano co-lead as well.
