been on a real xbox 360 kick lately because I deeply enjoy the whole "put a game in and it works" aspect of the console also it predates the internet being everywhere so outside of some later-lifecycle games there's no online crap to worry about - ThreadSky

Yes! Love Portal 2 and F:NV. Hopefully I'll discover Halo if/when that remaster collection reaches PS5. I'd add the Mass Effect Trilogy, Metroid Prime Trilogy (sort of counts?) and Spec Ops: The Line.

also it's twenty years old this year so right at the nadir of the interest curve. a 250GB console was €80 and the games are about €10. and since they're physical you can -gasp- resell them!

I know it's an original Xbox game, but it's cool and I think it'll run on the 360: Psychonauts.

I do think running it requires a patch that requires an Internet connection, though. ☹️

Dead Rising is obviously a classic, if you ever see Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 for cheap GRAB IT.
And I remember a goofy game called Matt Hazard that was fun
