The fact that so many people have no idea what Neoliberalism is and no understanding of the defining political ideology and consensus of the past half century that has affected every facet of their lives really highlights the larger, more pressing problem.

Postwar neoliberal theory emanated primarily from the University of Chicago’s school of economics, Milton Friedman being its most prominent advocate.
