It's definitely interesting when you consider the role of colorism in India even among families that immigrate to the US. Haley is very favored by Indian standards and I believe she comes from a higher caste. I feel like these have some role in her attachment to these conservative power structures

When people have made this argument to me I frame it: It shouldnt be surprising that we find female Maga or POC Maga. If one is raised in or around misogyny or racism its entirely unsurprising that one adopts those views, even if those views are self-evidently detrimental to the person.
