Judges don't seem to fully grasp that data is copyable. If I get to copy your personal data and then next week I lose access, I still have your personal data....
Maybe I don't understand the requirements, but 14 attorneys general, and not a single one could come up with a scenario where access to citizens' personal information or critical national computer systems could be corrupted, abused, or exploited by unsecured individuals?
Usually stuff like this is that they can’t show active harm. A judge can’t act on a maybe, they can only act once an actual law has been broken and/or actual harm has been done.
I guess you're right. I see where the requirement is "imminent, irreparable harm", so yes, she doesn't yet have grounds to block.
Just because Elon COULD cause irreparable harm doesn't make it imminent, so she'd have to wait until he does it. After it's irreparable.
