Ha yeah

well you know. it will be done very soon. The requests are getting less frequent and the bugs are getting closed.

And big swaths of the work aren't in six sines anyway they are in the underlying libraries. Like today when we found a directx/focusrite/juce8/windows10 conflict. (ugh)

The unjoking half is that I do really need to get familiar with a thing over months… if it's constantly morphing I'll bounce off, but if it stabilizes it finds a place in my heart :)

I sooo don't envy you that. In so many ways, modern development is a walled garden of Grimtooth's Traps each from a different vendor or computer maker, all pointing at each other. I'm lucky I can make anything, really :)
