I don’t think I’ve ever seen a ford cortina in person before

Rather an ugly car. Of course, I'm old enough to remember the Edsel. Ford really outdid themselves in the ugly department with that car.

Seen a number of them over the years. Guess living on the Left Coast has its benefits.

I had a cortina at one point in my life ... admittedly it wasn't a Mk1 like that one ... it was a Mk3 ... my first car was a Mk2 2.0L Capri, which was basically a hatch-back Cortina with 2 doors pretending to be lame attempt at a sports car.

I had a 1972 ford cortina, bench front seats, column shift, built like a bloody tank. 😊😊

I loved the song "grey cortina" but didn't know what kind of car it was.

For some insane reason, ny dad had one when we were growing up. There was one guy in Queens who could fix it when ti broke. Which was all the time.

I had one, around 1960, in NZ. Changed the gearbox for a floor shift model. It was a good car
