At first I assumed that the light pinks are hidden because they are the DLC characters and spike wanted to prevent them being datamined. But looking at the ID order. I'm thinking all, or majority of these pinks on the right were Tournament of Power characters. And holy crap that's insanely hype

Some alternate forms (Great Saiyaman 2, Kibito Kai, Super 17 and even the other Shadow Dragons) are also listed underneath the base character (Videl, Supreme Kai, Android 17, Syn Shenron).

TL;DR: basically every missing veteran from BT3 was planned (and probably still coming as DLC eventually).

There's also strong evidence that Great Ape Goku and SSJ1 Caulifla were scrapped as transformations; as well as base forms for Garlic Jr., Frost, Ribrianne, Kakunsa and Roasie (the versions of the characters currently in the game being internally treated as first transformations rather than base).

A lot of neat insight of what the devs had planned. If it doesn't take you too much time, could you also make a list of all of the sub-characters that you mentioned in the follow-up posts, I kinda wanna know if Cyborg Tao was planned.

Cyborg Tao isn’t part of the list of names but I wouldn’t take that to mean he wasn’t / isn’t planned; even for characters that made it into the game the list doesn’t cover every single form (since it’s for dialogue subtitles, could just be called Mercenary Tao regardless of form).

There could be more leftovers I'm missing elsewhere, but in the ID numbering there's no gaps, just 0000-0011 (Evening variants at 01XX and Night variants at 02XX). Hope we get all of the missing maps from BT3 back too!
