A waterpark that's visited primarily for its lazy river.
And when checking it out, the first thing you notice is a heavy scent in the air.
When asked about it, the staff claim it to be chemicals to keep it clean.
But you'll get used to the aroma quickly.
It's an acquired scent.

You completely forget that was an initial problem.
Though was it really ever a problem to begin with?
You had noticed it.
You never said you disliked it.
At least from what you can recall.
Really, you didn't need to ask questions at a lazy river.
Letting the river take you down.
While the water glided across your arms and legs.
Your body tingling with each droplet.
Sinking into the innertube that carried you along.
Relaxing to the sounds of rushing water.
One that intervenes your path with the rest of the journey.
You hadn't heard anything in the reviews about getting wet.
But of course you were going to get wet in a waterpark.
It should be expected!
But you'd only spoil the fun if you did that.
It's not called a lazy river for nothing.
The only way to prepare was to not prepare.
So you did absolutely nothing.
Watching as the stream pulled you into the luxurious waterfall.
Spreading a wave of numbing euphoria within its current.
Like a heavenly massage.
But nothing could prepare you as it climbed your head.
Over your mind.
Completely soaking...
Rinsing...
And washing..
The rest of your thoughts out.
That sensation had driven you to pure joy.
Unable to wipe that giddy, ditzy smile off your face.
You barely noticed the flash as the park's camera went off.
Capturing this moment of contentment.
To serve as a reminder for how good it felt to be drenched.
