'Nick Harrison, chief executive of the Sutton Trust, said the figures were outrageous, especially at a time when the NHS faces a “chronic shortage of doctors and a heavy reliance on overseas recruitment”.' 2/2
It is a shame that Unis are going to be blamed for this, when the explanations are so systemic, including the sheer cost and demands of applying to medical school.
