Maybe you can find a good GM to pair with Macdonald. I don't know that a better QB option exists.

First probably comes with second but IMO if they do nothing else they need a new OC.
They need an O-Line and a QB that doesn't collapse in the most important moments. If they have to change the GM to do that so be it.
Replacing GM w/o coach is a mistake. If this doesn't work in a few years replace both coach and GM at same time. Making a new gm take a coach that they didn't pick doesn't usually work.
The question is: can JS credibly claim he can fix the line? I think the answer to that is a pretty strong "no" at this point, which means he probably should go.
Need to fix the o-line to give Geno some decent protection.
Don't think there's an immediate better option at QB out there that's not much more expensive. Keep Geno and draft for future.
