The Monogram Murders: A Hercule Poirot Mystery by Sophie Hannah.
I really enjoy these books. They are a fantastic addition to the Christie Canon of Poirot Novels, and the others in the series are brilliant, too.
Otherwise, it's Everyone on This Train is a Suspect, by Benjamin Stevenson.
(it's not samurai based, I pull ideas from everywhere)
