Are MAGA Christians a thing, like MAGA Republicans? Some dare to claim God saved Trump. Their Bible warns them to not presume to know God's mind? It warns of Satan's influence of evil & power. Yet they reject both Bible warnings. If Trump was saved, I wouldn't presume it to be by the power of God.

They do some heavy selecting. When Trump first hit the scene in 2015, there was a lot of talk about him being a version of David, who did horrible things, but in the end Made Israel Great Again. They forget that David also recognized his sins and asked God for forgiveness.
Trump, of course, hasn’t.

i loved alberta's book about the evangelical right. scared the hell out of me, but also made me understand these nutters better.

I b remember it well. Fantastic content and one of the few Christian people who seem to get their faith seriously! My mom is one such that I’m very proud to say,she’s voted republican her whole life (to my consternation) up until 2016! And we all know why. Mom has been appalled,strong woman too!
