The US under Trump has decided to lie with the murderous Putin and belittle Zelenskyy. The entire meet was a set up for embarrassing Ukraine. Why wasn’t the meeting with the Russians televised and wide open as well? This was done for a demeaning and belittling moment , nothing else.

Cuts to programs that help people in this country, such as Medicaid, are not necessary or inevitable, as you seem to say. Never mentioned is increasing taxes, & closing some loopholes, on wealthy individuals and corporations. They are not sacrosanct.

Zelensky is now the leader of the free world. Trump is subservient to Putin so he has low stature in the evil empire. He is gifting the U.S. to Putin and granting permission for Putin to take Europe, Xi Asia, Trump gets North America.
