Julep was sweet, savvy, and elegant, with a ruffle of orange on her chest like a Victorian jabot. Though when it was time for a scratch or a treat, she didn't hesitate to tug your hand to her chin or meow with the force of a klaxon. And she loved to have a seat at the table. 2/4
