A caveat: The next two eps are much more like it. That said, the premiere of the new Star Wars show Skeleton Crew is one of the most viscerally repellent works of art I've ever seen and I'm not even joking. My notes included the words "disgusting" "repulsive" & "ghastly." A vile nostalgia turducken.

I was pleasantly surprised how much those things weren't as aggressive as the trailers suggested.
Window dressing more than the foundation of the story.
Certainly, Dex's diner in 'Attack of the Clones' was far more egregious than either of those.
