They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Scenario: I'm licensed for legal concealed carry of a handgun. I have a gun with me when masked men with no badges attempt to detain me by force by putting me in a convenient van. They do not ID themselves. They turn out to be ICE agents with an administrative warrant (not a court warrant).

If you survive the encounter and don't get smoked in the back by more that you didn't clock, the US court system is so wildly pro-cop that even if they were clearly wrong I don't see any judge siding with you not the police. I'm not a lawyer, but there's a pretty clear history of this jurisprudence.

It’s all about reasonable perception of fear and proportional response. Did you reasonably perceive yourself threatened by unlawful action? Then you can respond when and to the degree of the threat.
