If only practicing the art fundamentals (and drawing nothing else) to get good doesn't work for you, don't do it.
It doesn't work for most.
Do whatever makes drawing fun enough to do it consistently and without overthinking to the point of self-sabotage.
Study after.

The win win scenario here is to find a way to make studying those fundamentals gun for yourself - not yo imply that that's easy, obviously hehe
I learned more by simply drawing and trying to figure stuff on the go, kinda learning small thing here and there.
I feel like it's taking me ages to get something others get easily, but at least I'm moving
Just pose them, draw over them, boom. And it still feels like my work.
Probably attribute that to my ADHD.
But sometimes, our brains are mean, and it can be so hard to do on your own!

Thank you for the response back Sylessae. 🙏😄
Do what you like to do. Draw what you feel like drawing. Don't be scared to experiment. Just do.
Rules are made to be broken in art.
Often i feel that i should do them to get better, but i just cant get myself.
Just drawing is more fun and enjoyable and im sure with every drawing ill get better
