So much of the series is a slight remix on the MCU Spider-Man, which yeah I get. Just didn't think the references would go as far up as the No Way Home movie.

Expectations for the finale: Standard falling action plot beats
Reality: An episode that felt like a season 2 teaser, only for the twist to be it was more of a prequel than anything (sounds bad on paper, but they made it work)
Lots of different teasers for season 2 in those last few minutes, plus one they didn't hint at before. From what I understand, giving Peter's parents any kind of backstory has been kinda boring/dumb both in the movies and comics, but I trust FNSM to finesse something out of it.
