Chefhubby was gifted some A5 once. Truly one of the best food experiences of my life. I can't buy a 3 lb chuck roast for less than $35 in the supermarket and I KNOW what they charge to mark up food. But I will be *damned* if I pay that much for ANY one food item.
Even if you have the money for $1000 steak, even if that much money is no big deal to you, how can a piece of steak possibly be special enough for that??? Like at the end of the day, it is still just a piece of a dead cow.
