I think there’s more to showing Denji considering touching Asa then to make you think he’s a feminist icon, like the fact that it entered his mind (and he refused that’s important but you have to look at it as a whole)

He decided not to, but he did fondle her some before that. Covering Yoru up is a empty gesture balancing it with how much Denji doesn't really care or worry for neither of them, being self absorbed instead.

In my opinion I think it was a brief moment of clarity where he decided to hold back from his worst impulses. He doesn’t care much for Asa nor Yoru’s wellbeing except for what they can offer to him, but he didn’t want to stoop so low in that moment.

It’s true that Denji sa’d Asa, but at least Yoru was conscious and doing the act, whereas in that instance both Asa AND Yoru were unconscious so in his mind it may have been too low even if he had contributed to Asa’s SA prior. It’s hypocritical but if he had done that

I think it would’ve spiraled into something even darker than what’s already happening and Denji decided to hold back. It was less about doing a good thing and more about not falling into complete darkness to the point of no return. I hope I explained it well

Oh yeah people are glossing over that. The fact that SA’ing Asa/Yoru crossed his mind and he almost did I t says a lot. To be clear I don’t think CSM is trying to suggest Denji is a feminist king but the fandom perceives him as such bc he does the bare minimum.
