True of the rabbis at Yeshiva University when I was there in the 80s. That’s why they supported Jewish terrorists.

A lot of people with evangelical childhoods, myself included, can likely attest: there is a widespread and fundamental belief in the supersession of religious law over existing "earthly" statutes, including basic moral principles, amongst many Christian sects, and it's as violent as you think it is.
