Can folks who've had positive birthing experiences share them with me? I'm to the point where I'll give birth anywhere from a week to a month from now, and I feel like all I hear/read are traumatic and scary stories, it's making me anxious.

Mine were both a week early, no complications. No epidural. About seven hours labor from water breaking to delivery. I was so energized after, I didn't realize my legs were shaky, lol. Nearly fell. And now I've got two awesome adult kids to brag on. You've totally got this! And it's so worth it!
Had two unmedicated births and one with that fancy narcotic they let you have as long as you aren't too far along. The first was 8 hours start to finish, the next 2.5 and the last 3.5. Considered being a surrogate because I like being pregnant and have easier births. Congrats and good luck!
My first birth was minimally medicated, everything I had learned worked. The second was harder, turned out my baby was 10 lbs 3 oz., but even that was a vaginal birth, less than 8 hours. My favorite moment: the custodian came in, looked at the size of my baby, and said to me "you're quite a woman!"
