Starting to believe the biggest determinant in young men's political alignment is how much time they spend working out. Not because like some believe, exercise has some magical effects on mindset. Purely because hours in the gym means lots of time to listen to podcasts.

If you lean into techno at all, industrial and hard techno are damn near perfect for working out.
it is rhythmic and repetitive in the way dance music is, but with a hypnotic meditative quality to it
i've been playing it at work recently and its crazy it bludgeons my brain into focus with a wall of fuzz i barely even need my adderal
I listened to dopesmoker on repeat the other day while forging a cable tie hook for my garage shelves. Sometimes when cleaning up I like to jam a little sunn o)))
Stoner metal is fine for many uses but its performance in the gym is simply not as good as even basic Eurobeat.
Tbf I was/am a runner, the vibes are different. I can see eurobeat for PUMPING IRON, 12 minute tracks of chugs and riffs work for a long cardio trek for me
