I read the article and can't understand why Zelenskyy would have to step down to get Ukraine into NATO.
I also don't understand why Zelenskyy has any reason to negotiate with the US.
Is it because they think the US can wrangle Putin? Putin is a snake. He might let go today, but what about tomorrow?
